Hydrant Shadow Squeeze
I slipped through the screen door and sprinted straight down the warm concrete walk! Right beside the curb stood a chunky red fire hydrant, puffing its chest out in the sunshine. Underneath its fat side nozzle was a curved, hollow shadow just big enough for a squeeze! I dropped flat onto my stomach and slithered right beneath the cold cast iron belly! Squeeze, tug, slide! I looped my long arms completely around its thick bolted base, pressing both palms against the cool painted metal. Peeking out from between the iron bolt caps, I watched dry oak leaves spin right across the asphalt!
