Morning Prism Flow
I pushed past the terrace slider right into that crisp morning air to shake off being indoors. Resting against the white painted stucco was an acrylic triangular prism someone had left behind on a ceramic saucer. As the low sun sliced across the rail, a brilliant stripe of rainbow neon splattered straight across the concrete floor. I scrambled up, plantin' my kicks on both sides of the heavy glass crystal. Leaning down, I gave it a steady quarter-turn with both hands. That sharp spectrum beam whipped across my sneakers and up the wall like an instant stage strobe! The pure morning visuals were totally unreal.
