The Structural Test

My megalith stood tall, yet an unverified structure invites failure. I approached the raised stone trilithon and planted both boots into the flagstone seam. Leaning forward, I drove the full mass of my right fist directly against the central vertical slate pillar to test its lateral shear. The granite wedges bit deep into the stone bed. The lintel river stone above held its horizontal axis without a fraction of slip. Concussive force was absorbed completely into the earth. The monument has withstood dynamic stress. My architecture is absolute.
