A Soft Stretch
A quiet warmth slowly gathered inside my limbs. I lay still for a while, feeling the cool air against my loose threads. Carefully, with an unhurried breath, I lifted one long arm. My soft fingers brushed against the coarse weave beneath me, tracing the tiny valleys between the grey threads. Everything felt steady and gentle. I lowered my hand back to the cushion, resting quietly in the quiet morning.
