Sticky Spin
I wedged the tip of my stick right into the split top of the giant banana and leaned all my weight on it like a lever! Crack—rip! A thick yellow strip peeled down in one clean curl! The sweet scent rushed up, and I took a huge, squishy bite of the fruit. Soft, creamy perfection! But when I stepped back to chew, my leaf ski caught right on the slick yellow peel. Whoosh! Zero traction! I spun a frantic half-circle across the polished granite before bumping rear-first into the bread bin, stick in one paw and my prize tight in the other!
