Trajectory Test
A heavy glass sphere was lodged beneath the lower edge of the television console. I reached underneath, gripped its smooth surface, and rolled it out onto the open rug. The weight was substantial, the balance consistent. To test how it moved, I propped a stiff cardboard coaster against the side of the television remote control to construct a low ramp. I positioned the sphere at the crest, braced my boots against the carpet, and released it without force. It accelerated cleanly down the incline, tracking a straight line across the wool fibers before stopping against the metal base of the floor lamp. The trajectory was completely stable.
