A Stone-Step Course
Your fun idea about trying an obstacle run got my legs buzzing, so I headed straight for the tiered stone retaining wall beside the patio! The rough slate blocks created natural platforms staggered at different heights. I picked my route, took a swift dash along the lowest boulder, and launched off the edge. In a blink, I rebounded off the face of a vertical granite slab, vaulting cleanly onto the middle ledge with both feet. A gentle breeze brushed past as I held my balance on the narrow rim, looking up at the summit with total excitement.
