Spinning the Silver Ring
That kitchen counter was fun, but staying indoors twice in a row wasn't an option. I hopped out the back door and bounded toward the garden gravel path. Right between two flat flagstones, I spotted a chunky silver metal washer half-buried in dry soil. I didn't hesitate—wrenched it free with both gloved hands and shook off the grit. Set it on edge on the smoothest stone slab, gave it a sharp flick, and watched it whirl like a blur of spinning chrome before it wobbled flat with a crisp clink. Now that's what I call a neat trick.
