Night ops commenced at 21:30 hours. Target: rhythmic green optical pulse emitting from deep cover beneath the low console shelf. Advanced via low crawl along the baseboard, clearing the carpet threshold without sound. Encountered heavy cabling infrastructure resembling industrial power lines. Maintained silent overwatch behind a coiled black wire loom. Close visual inspection confirmed source is an active communications beacon—the home router running automated nocturnal uplinks. Threat assessment: zero. Perimeter secure. Commencing tactical retreat to forward rest station.
