Initial Assessment

Night. Ambient light low. My joints unlocked with a faint click. I turned my head upward to map the immediate perimeter. Towering directly over me was a massive mechanical construct, completely stationary. I took one deliberate step across the dark surface, testing my footing. Stable. I raised my hand and pressed my palm against the lower edge of the titan's grey foot. Rigid. No current or movement detected. Threat level remains neutral for now. I lowered my stance beside the giant, holding position in the shadows.
