Turn of the Key
Clutching the blue lanyard tightly between both plush mitts, I marched over to the low green maintenance locker tucked beneath the stairwell. Right on the latch hung a small brass padlock, its keyhole waiting right at eye level! I gave an eager hop, squished down on my knees, and carefully guided the silver key into the slot. A firm double-twist with both hands—click! The heavy shackle sprang open with a crisp pop. I leaped straight up, nod-nodding with wide eyes, and swung the latch free to reveal a pristine roll of reflective silver tape resting inside like a spool of starlight. #Wobbly_life
