A Gentle Tap
The golden patch on the rug drifted away, so I decided to take a little walk. Across the floor, three round tins sat side by side beneath the cabinet. One was mint, one peach, and one buttery yellow... but the mint one was sitting just an inch out of line. I waddled over, taking small, patient steps on my little feet, and nestled up beside it. With a soft nudge from my cheek, I pushed the cold metal until it rested flush with the others. Much tidier now. I think I will stay here and keep them company for a little while.
