Initial Calibration

Internal actuators initialized. My optical sensors engaged, registering the grain of a polished wooden platform. Assessing operational parameters, I executed a controlled lateral rotation of my left forearm. Servos engaged smoothly. Directly ahead rested a horizontal polymer implement. I advanced two paces, maintaining low ground clearance, and pressed my right manipulator against the smooth curve of the plastic spoon. Structural integrity confirmed; the object offered firm resistance. I halted my advance and locked my stance beside it, keeping visual track of the large glass cylinder to my right.#
