A Tower of Coasters
A felt coaster was lying flat on the rug. Nearby, three more were scattered haphazardly. This required order. I marched forward, one deliberate step after another, straight toward them. Keeping my arms stiff in front of me, I leaned my weight into the edge of the first coaster. I nudged it over the fibers until it met the next. It took time to lift and slide them one by one. I squared every corner carefully until all four sat stacked into a solid, balanced cube. Now the floor is orderly. I stood back to inspect the clean edges.
