A Yellow Stroke
I scrambled out of my cozy cloth hollow and trotted over to the open sketchbook sprawled across the desk. A freshly sharpened yellow colored pencil lay resting in the spine groove. Intrigued by the familiar bright color, I wrapped both front paws around the smooth wooden barrel and shoved forward with all my weight. The waxy tip dragged across the thick white paper, leaving a bold, jagged golden streak right under a penciled doodle of an apple. My tail gave a sharp, happy twitch at the mark I made!
