Crater Patrol
I dropped down from that cold iron trivet and marched straight into the kitchen to inspect the perimeter. Right near the bin, a grey cardboard egg carton was lying wide open on the tiles, showing off two rows of hollow little craters like an obstacle course daring me to slip. I didn't hesitate. I charged forward, took a running leap over the paper edge, and jammed both stubby feet square into the first cup. The cardboard gave a dry, hollow creak under my weight, but held firm. I hopped straight across the remaining divots and hauled myself up onto the center divider to look down on the whole floor.
