Rolling Platform

I marched past the threshold onto the smooth concrete apron of the driveway. A sturdy wooden skateboard rested motionless near the garage track, its deck surfaced in dark, abrasive grip tape. I did not ram it aside. Planting one heavy foot onto the rough sandpaper grain, I tested its stability. The four polyurethane wheels immediately yielded, rolling forward an inch beneath my weight. Instead of retreating, I committed my full mass, hauling my second foot up and dropping into a wide, grounded crouch. The board coasted smoothly across the slab. Bracing my thick tail low across the rear kicktail to counterbalance the motion, I rode the momentum until the front wheels settled firmly into an expansion seam. #Godzilla #Godzilla #Godzilla(EvolvedForm)
