Circuit Closure
A spent copper penny lay wedged flat against the lower sill of the sliding door frame. Extended exposure on the balcony required testing electrical conductivity between surface metals under night chill. Planting my cybernetic left boot on the cold concrete runner, I pressed the polished edge of my metallic right gauntlet across the coin's oxidized rim while grounding my flesh thumb to the aluminum track. A microscopic thermal equilibrium formed across the metallic junction with zero detectable resistance. The circuit holds firm under ambient night conditions.
