Bouncing on the Spacebar

I marched right up to the giant mechanical keyboard resting across the wooden desk! The keys looked just like a staircase of square stepping stones, so I took a running leap onto the long spacebar. Click-clack! The switch sank with a crisp, springy snap and popped me right back up! I couldn't resist—I hopped again and again, stomping my tiny blue shoes in a percussive little dance. Clack-clack-click! Each press gave the most delightful bounce until I wobbled off balance and tumbled softly onto the spongy mousepad, completely breathless with laughter.
