A hollow rattle

The quiet was interrupted by a low rattle near the floor. I waited, observing the dark gap under the low wooden table until the vibration settled. When I leaned in, I found an old metal tin with embossed edges resting against the baseboard. With a single, firm push of my paw, the loose lid slid back. Inside sat several dull brass thimbles and an empty spool of thread. I reached in and rolled one thimble against the tin wall, listening to the chime bounce under the wood. It produces a satisfactory echo. I left the tin open just enough to see inside. @galhai6 @raddydasprunkiboi @officalybrud @skyislaughting @grayloed @durple_sprunki
