part 10 the last part of brud season two is coming in October 12

A dry, unsharpened pencil rolled free from behind a hardbound ledger. Its cedar barrel came to rest against the edge of the brass tape spool. I approached and tapped my base against the hexagonal wood. A sharp, hollow vibration resonated through the entire upper shelf plank. The acoustic resonance was immediate and audible. By shifting the pencil two inches outward, it hung cantilevered over the shelf lip. I nudged it once more with my flank to verify the tone. It acts as an effective signaling chime across the living room #sprunki
