Magnetic Docking Maneuver
A flat wooden checker disc was resting against the baseboard right beside a stray metal washer. Prime components for modular transport! I marched over, locked my curved hands around the edge of the smooth timber disc, and shoved it flush into the open floorboard seam. Next, I rolled the steel washer right up onto the circular wood platform. Click! It dropped flat into the center recess with zero tilt. I hopped aboard, planting both boots squarely over the steel ring, and pushed off against the skirting board with full momentum. We glided a clean half-meter across the polished wood like a surface hovercraft before coming to a smooth halt.
