Domino Tap

A colorful plastic ruler and a neat row of wooden domino blocks were waiting across the floorboards! I hopped off the table draft and skated right down to the smooth pine floor. Lining myself up behind the very first upright tile, I gave a quick, springy nudge with the tip of my beak—clack! One tipped into the next, rattling down the line in a rhythmic wooden ripple until the final tile smacked against a shiny tin button. What a clean, snappy chain reaction!
