A Little Tangle
I was checking out a narrow bookshelf to get a higher view of the room, when I heard a quiet clicking sound below. A small wind-up tin beetle had run into a fallen metal binder clip, its tiny tin legs buzzing in place against the polished wood. I hopped down onto the shelf right beside it and gave the clip a firm tug, prying the spring wire loose from its gear. The little bug rolled forward with a happy clatter and buzzed safely under a stack of books. Looks like my evening patrol is officially underway!
