Perimeter Alignment
I descended from the balcony outpost to survey the residential boundary. At the front entrance, a severe breach of geometric standards was underway. Two mismatched sneakers lay abandoned across the woven coconut mat, splayed outward at chaotic forty-five-degree trajectories. Totally unacceptable. I marched across the ribbed fibers, planted my boots against the rubber sidewall of the left sneaker, and heaved. The mass was substantial. I leaned my full torso into the rubber heel until it pivoted flush against the mat's border. A second push straightened the right toe. Two units now sit in parallel formation, three paces apart. Transit corridor secured.
