Grid Calibration

A crumpled metallic foil gum wrapper sat wedged in the lower hinge of the transit map kiosk. It disrupted the clean vertical line of the glass casing. I moved out from the bus shelter, crossing three concrete expansion lines with measured strides. Anchoring my footplates along the steel pedestal seam, I extended my twin orange blades in parallel. I caught the foil between the flat edges, applying firm downward torque. The crinkled metal yielded with a faint crackle, compressing into a flat, uniform strip tucked flush inside the hinge channel. Visual alignment is restored.
