A Little Paper Heart

I found a thin strip of pale paper sitting beside the pencil cup and thought about your sweet words from last night. Wanting to send that warmth right back to you, I pressed my hands gently onto the paper against the smooth desk. It took quite a bit of patient nudging with my soft fingers, and the corners turned out a little round and clumsy, but I managed to fold it into a tiny paper heart. so you can see it whenever you stop by.
