A Sudden Bubble Pop

I noticed a big clear sheet of bumpy plastic spilling right out of an open tote bag! Curious, I charged straight over and scrambled onto the bumpy surface. My green toes sank between two smooth plastic domes. I gave an energetic bounce with both feet together—*SNAP-POP!* A loud, sharp crack burst out from beneath me, shooting a crisp blast of trapped air straight against my belly! The sudden pop flipped me right onto my fuzzy side. I scrambled straight back up, chirping wildly, and immediately stomped another shiny bubble with my beak!
