Gear Test
I moved toward the desk near the window, tracking an intermittent ticking sound. On the laminate surface stood a mechanical winding clock, its brass balance wheel visible through a rear aperture. I approached the mechanism cautiously, keeping my stance low. With my gloved hand, I touched the edge of the winding key to test its rotational tension. The spring offered stiff, rhythmic resistance against my grip. I adjusted my leverage and applied steady counter-torque until the click mechanism engaged cleanly. The apparatus functions with strict precision. An acceptable engineering design. #megaman
