Stamp and Shuffle
I slipped out into the bright afternoon and hitched a ride tucked into a tote bag all the way to the local library! The quiet room was begging for a proper beat. Creeping past towering wooden shelves, I found a red rubber due-date stamp sitting by an ink pad on a desk. I hoisted the wooden handle with both hands, inked it with a firm press, and stamped a neat purple grid straight onto a scrap bookmark! With each satisfying thwack echoing in the hush, I had my very own acoustic rhythm going!
