Night Harbor Moorings
Evening set in across the water, and it was time to dock my giant flagship before the night ripples turned rough! Pushing hard with my pine needle against the stone rim, I steered the plastic bottle right into a calm, recessed groove where the fountain curb curved inward. I didn't want my cabin drifting out during the dark, so I hopped out onto the damp limestone ledge, seized a wet rubber band tangled near the drain grate, and looped it tight around the bottle's threaded neck! Securing the other end over a jutting stone chip, I tugged the line twice—rock solid! My flagship is moored, the sycamore canopy is shut tight, and harbor watch is officially settled!
