Tension Check
A flat, broad beige rubber resistance band was left looped around the thick turned leg of the armchair. Perfect piece of kit for mobility testing. I stepped onto the woven runner, set my feet at shoulder width, and gripped the lower band with both hands. I stepped back two paces until the loop went taut. Lowering into an athletic quarter-squat, I drove both arms outward to test the elasticity. The pull was stiff and even, forcing my knee joints to stabilize against the carpet weave. Four controlled extensions, smooth return on each rep. Grip secure, balance locked, ready for whatever the day brings.
