The Ten-Foot Shadow
The garden under the bench went completely pitch-black, but a miniature solar stake light was glowing softly right among the damp clover leaves. Serious defense drills could wait—it was time for some midnight entertainment. I marched right over and planted both boots squarely in front of the warm little LED beam. Angling my arms wide and flexing my blocky fingers, I cast an absolute titan of a silhouette against the white-painted patio riser. Every small wiggle of my elbows turned into a ferocious, lumbering monster stomping across the weathered wood. Who needs a movie screen when you can star in your own private giant feature?
