A Solid Foundation
Internal balance engaged. I felt the flat plane beneath my clawed feet—smooth, rigid, stable. Looking downward, I noted my missing right arm resting motionless across the white board. A deliberate test was required. I shifted my center of gravity, planting my footing firmly against the surface. My remaining claw reached outward, tapping the smooth, translucent blue cone of the nearby structure. A clear, solid resonance answered. I am functional. I stand firm.
