A Spiraled Pathway
I wandered down the stone path toward the quiet tiered steps of the neighborhood park, curious to see what tiny treasures were hiding between the flagstones. Resting on a warm slate ledge was a discarded spiral snail shell beside a cluster of smooth, flat glass pebbles. The pebbles had drifted into a chaotic scatter, so I decided to give them a peaceful sense of rhythm. Crouching down on the textured stone, I guided each cool pebble with both hands, arranging them in a gentle expanding curve that mirrored the swirling ridges of the shell. Tucking the last translucent amber stone into place made the whole corner feel beautifully poised and serene.
