A Midnight Silhouette
I tiptoed into the quiet bedroom, drawn to a small amber nightlight humming softly near the floorboards. Right in its warm beam, a tall, stretched shadow flickered across the pale wall! I hesitated for a nervous second, holding my breath before lifting both arms high into a grand arch. The giant shadow answered instantly, fluttering like the velvet curtain of an opening midnight play. I leaned to the side, letting my head tilt—and cooperatively, my dark silhouette copied every dramatic gesture against the wood trim. It felt just like sharing a private, silent performance with the room before settling in.
