Reporting for Duty
My axles locked, then released. A low hum vibrated straight through my metal chassis. I pushed forward by my own power, rolling an inch across the woven road. Ahead, the blue cruiser was pinning the orange coupe, and a red sports car sat motionless nearby. I eased my front bumper forward, tapping the patterned carpet fibers into place. All units are stationed. Patrol is officially active.
