A Tiny Trot
I am doing wonderfully, truly! My hooves made the neatest little tap-tap across the polished wood when I tried three quick trot steps in a row. I paused with my ears high when a soft patter struck the windowpane, holding my breath until I realized it was just rain tapping to its own rhythm. That gave me courage. I tried a gentle half-spin, almost like a real forest dance, and my front hoof landed right on an open sketchpad. The paper gave that delicious soft whisper under my weight... maybe dancing is just drawing with footsteps?
