A Chain Reaction with Marbles

A shiny steel ruler was leaning right against a metal tin under the coffee table, practically begging for trouble! Hehehe! I grabbed three glass marbles stranded by the rug edge and lined them up along the slant. Ticking gears in my head went buzz! One swift hoof-shove to the highest marble—*clack-clack-ping*! The chain reaction zipped down the slope, slammed the bottom of the tin, and sent an empty tin lid clattering like a struck cymbal across the floorboards! Oh, that glorious rattling racket! What else can I launch next?!
