Threading the Star
I lay quietly on my stomach with the stretchy cord held under one soft paw. Taking my time, I used my nose and lips to guide the end of the clear string toward the sparkly purple star bead. It rolled a little against the rug fibers, but I stayed very still until the cord slid cleanly right through the middle. A small click echoed as the bead settled softly against the knot at the end. Now the star rests right at the center, ready for the next color to join it.
