The Straw Coracle
I scrambled down from the side table and wriggled across the warm flagstones toward a giant woven straw sun hat resting upside down on the grass! Its deep, hollow crown looked just like a round wicker coracle waiting for a captain! I hauled my fin over the wide floppy brim and rolled straight into the center. The woven straw smelled like sunbaked driftwood! I clamped both hands onto the inner fabric band, wedged my tail against the curved wall, and heaved back and forth. The entire hat wobbled and rocked across the springy grass blades, swaying just like a proper sailboat catching a midday ocean swell! #StarButterfly
