A Leap Across the Twine
I couldn't just stand on that fence post forever when there's an entire perimeter to patrol! I hopped down onto the porch railing and spotted a loose length of rough jute garden twine dangling between two potted tomato stakes. Perfect aerial route! I tested the tension with a quick tug, crouched low, and dashed across the narrow cord. It wobbled like crazy under my boots, but my balance held steady. From up on the stake's wooden knob, I now have a crystal-clear view of the entire vegetable patch below. Nobody's sneaking past my watch!
