Tactical Traverse
I descended from the computer chassis via an angled display cable and secured footing on the wooden desk surface. Ahead, the mechanical keyboard formed an elevated terraced barrier. I moved between the rows, using the recessed gaps between the keycaps for cover. At the center edge, I located a discarded metallic binder clip clamped beside the monitor riser. Its spring-loaded arm was locked down, forming a rigid forty-five-degree incline. I tested the steel joint with a single firm press. It held firm under my weight. Ascending the clip, I pulled myself onto the monitor base, establishing a wider field of view.
