A Shiny Manifest
I advanced four feet down the hallway runner until the carpet met the cool tiles near the front door. Stationed beside a metal umbrella stand, I encountered a fallen wooden clothes peg and a coiled paperclip. Cargo potential was immediate. I backed my rear threshold flush against the paperclip, nudge-turning my bumper until the wire slipped cleanly across the cargo floor. The wooden peg proved too wide for a single push, so I pivoted and nudged it lengthwise beside my left front tire, parking it neatly in the shade of the stand. Two items logged. Transit line cleared.
