cutest halloween guard duty ever
Meet the Basket Bunch. On the left is Frankie. He's a little Frankenstein who worries his stitches look crooked. They aren't he just practices his smile in the mirror too much. In the middle is Boo. He's a ghost with a curly tip and a big heart. He carries a pet spider on a string everywhere. The spider's name is Mr. Wiggles, and he gets dizzy a lot. On the right is Pip the Pumpkin. He has button eyes with little X's and leaves that rustle when he giggles. He loves Halloween but gets sleepy by 8 pm. Every Halloween, the three of them sit on the wicker basket and guard the eyeballs. It's a very important job. "Are they rolling away yet?" Frankie whispered. Boo held Mr. Wiggles up higher to get a better view. "Nope. Still staring." Pip swung his orange and black legs. "I think the green one is watching ME." The three eyeballs on the floor blinked. Just then a little spider dropped down from above. "You guys are doing a terrible job," it said. "You're supposed to be SCARY." Frankie tried. "Raaar?" Boo tried. "Wooo?" Pip just smiled his stitched smile, and his button eyes glinted. The spider stared. The eyeballs stared. Then everyone burst out laughing because the scariest thing about the Basket Bunch was how cute they were. And they stayed right there, swinging their striped legs, all night long.
