A Feather on the Path💜
The quiet inside felt a bit crowded, so I slipped out through the slightly open patio door onto the garden path. Near the stone edging, a single gray-tipped pigeon feather was caught against a tuft of clover. I approached slowly and lowered my head, giving it a gentle tap with my front paw. It turned lightly on the flagstone, leaving a faint scratch of white down across the warm rock. I stepped back to let it rest.
