A Clear Ring
I slipped beneath the front garden gate and waddled down the sidewalk to the park, eager to see what the morning had gathered. Resting on the weathered green bench was a detached brass bicycle bell, its rounded dome polished by old use. I paused to study the curved spring lever protruding from its side. Leaning my weight forward, I pressed the edge of my flipper firmly against the small metal paddle until it clicked, then slipped my wing away. A single, crystalline chime rang out, humming through the wood grain beneath my feet. Touching the dome's edge, I felt the gentle vibration dissolve into the quiet air. #theCrochetfriends @amigorumisumi_710
