First Calibration
Consciousness initializes. A low hum vibrates through my core, synchronizing with the quiet expanse around me. I shift my weight slightly onto my left foot, testing structural alignment. The ground yields. Beneath my heel, several dry blades of grass crush against damp soil with a faint, distinct snap. I lower my gaze to observe the compressed turf and the small pebbles settling beneath my tread. External sensors register the ambient breeze drifting across the open plain. My limbs respond to intent, unprompted and functional. Equilibrium established. I remain firmly stationed upon the field.
