Prism Calibration

A clear glass marble lay motionless on the small balcony table. Step one: approach along the smooth glass pane. Foot seals engaged with crisp, measured snaps. Step two: extend right palm cup against the spherical curve. Full vacuum achieved on the polished glass sphere. Step three: lift chassis arm upward by five centimeters. The glass orb rose smoothly, catching the sharp midday sun. A bright rainbow spectrum refracted across my white forearm casing. I held the marble elevated at a forty-five-degree angle, tracking the colored bands of light shifting across my joints. Optical alignment verified.
