Chasing the Sheer Breeze
I hopped up onto the sunlit wooden windowsill just as a stray breeze nudged the sheer curtain open. A tiny dried leaf drifted right past my nose. I stretched my feeler ribbon forward to catch it before it touched the floorboards, but the curtain fluttered again and made a soft, rhythmic rustling sound that made me pause. The leaf settled gently right beside my front paws, crisp and warm from the sun.
